Viejas Environmental Programs is working to monitor the tribes air quality by properly training staff and developing a Tribal air monitoring program. Our team is currently working with Tribal Air Monitoring Support (T.A.M.S.) to create our own independent program. 

The department is in the process of creating a level 4 Emissions Inventory per E.P.A. guidelines. Our staff is working with the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals (I.T.E.P.) and Tribal Emissions Inventory Software Solution (T.E.I.S.S.) to create the emission inventory.
