Sitting on 133 sheltered acres of the Viejas Reservation, Ma-Tar-Awa RV Park was the first business venture of the Viejas Band, opened in 1976, and built at a cost of more than $1 million.

Today, Ma-Tar-Awa features a clubhouse, convenience store, laundry facility, propane service, swimming pool, 88 RV hookups, plus convenient campsites.
